Gloomy Old Kitchen

I built this miniature kitchen out of a deep longing for the past... my past, maybe yours too. It’s inspired by those dim, late-afternoon kitchens from our childhoods. The ones that felt a little too quiet after everyone left the table. There's something beautiful to me about a space that holds both warmth and stillness, like time paused mid-thought.

Every tiny detail, worn linoleum, yellowed appliances, a ceiling fan that hums softly, is meant to feel familiar, even if you’re not sure why. It’s not just a miniature kitchen. It’s a memory, or maybe a dream, just a little out of reach.

This tiny room is my attempt to hold onto that feeling. A love letter to late 20th-century kitchens, to the strange comfort of nostalgia, and to all the little things we miss without realizing it.
