I partnered with FIZZ and Qolab to build a series of miniature sets for a few of their commercials, all directed by the very talented Jérémie Saindon.
The inspiration? Beautiful Canadian landscapes.
I built tiny versions of Canadian environments: forrested terrain, snowy mountains, open skies, subtle textures that feel familiar if you’ve ever driven through the country or stared out the window on a long train ride. Each set had to feel dreamy, colourful, and playful.
These commercials were part live-action, part miniature world, and I loved getting to see how my sets blended into the larger scenes. There's something so satisfying about building a quiet little field or a tiny rock formation, knowing it’ll end up in a high-energy ad campaign. Unexpected combo, but it worked.
