For my partnership with Booking.com, I wanted to tell the story of what happens when your workday becomes so overwhelming, your house quite literally uproots itself, and flies into vacation-mode.

I built a miniature home office packed with clutter, sticky notes, unanswered emails, and increasingly concerning voicemail notifications, before transforming the entire room into a surreal little "airplane" headed toward the beach.

Somewhere between the turbulence, moving clouds, and tiny seatbelt signs, things got weirdly relatable. As someone who spends an alarming amount of time building tiny rooms and obsessing over miniature details, this project was a dream to make. We used practical effects for almost everything, from physically shaking the house during “takeoff,” to moving giant clouds past the windows, to flying a tiny blue house on green screen like it was a real aircraft with absolutely no FAA clearance whatsoever.

At its core, this film is about escapism, burnout, and the universal fantasy of simply walking out the front door and ending up somewhere warm and quiet instead. Thankfully, Booking.com makes the travel part significantly easier than physically uprooting your home.
